Since their inception in 2007, the quartet has prioritized a "menacing and heavy" aesthetic over speed, drawing direct inspiration from the atmospheric weight of early Celtic Frost and the crushing grandeur of Candlemass.

Founded by Tim Preston (formerly of Dearly Beheaded), the band has spent over a decade perfecting a sound that avoids modern clichés in favor of old-school grit and cosmic dread. Their lyrical universe is steeped in the weird fiction of H.P. Lovecraft and the surrealist horror of H.R. Giger, creating a live experience that feels both ritualistic and punishingly heavy.
